Kelly Taylor IIDA, NCIDQ is a Master of Design Studies, Sustainable Design, candidate at the BAC. A practicing interior designer since 1998, Kelly holds a BA in English from the College of Charleston as well as an AAS in Interior Design from Parson's School of Design.
Kelly Taylor launched her design studio in 2004, and has since been recognized for exceptional interior design. She is the 2012 recipient of New England Home Magazine's "5 Under 40" Awards for excellence in design, and has, in 2011, been awarded Rhode Island Monthly's Silver Award for residential interior design as well as a Gold Award for the commercial office space where her studio resides. Her work has appeared in such leading design publications as Metropolis, Boston Globe Magazine, Design New England and New England Home.
Kelly is committed to advocacy for and attention to sustainability in design. Since we spend close to 90% of our time indoors, the interior environment dramatically affects our lives, both physically and psychologically. The systems and materials we use in our homes and businesses permeate the air we breathe.
Kelly practices residential and commercial interior design in Providence, Rhode Island.
