Students at the BAC don’t just have “jobs” in the design field—they have careers, and building a career in design requires support, resources and management.
The Practice Department offers Career Services for degree program students. Together with Advising and The Learning Resource Center,
Career Services helps students develop design-focused resumes, cover letters and portfolios. Career Services also provides one-on-one job search strategy meetings, helps students with mock interviews and interviewing skills, and sponsors on- and off-campus recruiting events.
Individual career counseling sessions also help students deal with issues on the job, plan the next step in their careers, and handle everything from negotiating a job offer to dealing with losing a job.
