Employers & Recruiting
More than 350 design and design-related firms in New England have BAC students working for them as full-time employees. The advantages of working with a BAC student are tremendous and go both ways.
Employers select from a pool of highly qualified, committed candidates in a range of fields when they consider hiring BAC students. From architecture to interior design, landscape architecture to architectural technology and design computing, BAC students are trained to meet the diverse needs of all kinds of design employers.
With BAC students, employers not only get employees who are eager to learn, ready to work and already have the skills needed for the job, but they get the opportunity to help grow the next generation of design professionals, following in the design field’s tradition of mentoring and apprenticeship.
Committed practitioners have the opportunity to shape the next generation of professionals through instruction, mentoring, and apprenticeship leading to licensure.
The BAC makes it easy for employers to find the right students with the right skills through The Laboratory Listings, a propriety job bank, and on- off-campus recruiting support.
The Employer Advisory Council is a body comprised of design employers and BAC staff. Its goal is to expand the meaningful conversations between the BAC and these groups of employers, who support, instruct and mentor our students throughout the calendar year.
