- John Gyles Education Awards
John Gyles Education Awards are available each year to students in both Canada and the United States. They are the result of a private, benevolent endeavor established in 1990. Those selected will receive up to $3,000.00. Several scholarships are awarded directly to students and a list of recipients is available at the end of each calendar year. To apply for a scholarship applicants must be enrolled full-time at (or accepted to) a college or university program as an undergraduate or graduate student. (High school seniors, and others, may apply pending acceptance.) Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.7 and must also have citizenship in either Canada or the United States. No preference is given to students from either country. Additional criteria are listed on the application form. - HRI Endowment Fund Scholarships
The HRI Endowment fund is composed of several scholarship funds that aid students who are seeking a lifelong career in horticulture and landscape. Please visit their website for more information on specific scholarships.
- The MNLA Foundation for Educational Excellence Scholarship Program
To be eligible, applicant's major must be in a course of study in Horticulture or related sciences, they must be a resident of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for a minimum of one year prior to submitting an application, and completed applications must be submitted by March 31st of the Award Year. Scholarships for residents of Rhode Island enrolled in an accredited school studying architecture, landscape architecture, interior architecture or historic preservation.

Scholarships for residents of West Virginia enrolled in an accredited School of Architecture.

"The scholarship is eligible to Architecture students entering their final 3-years of their first professional Architecture degree at an accredited School of Architecture in the United States. "This fund designates its income to assist students presently following, or transferring into an academic program of architecture at the undergraduate or graduate level. To be eligible, students must be in the final three years of a five-year program leading to a Bachelor of Architecture degree or be enrolled in a graduate program leading to a Master of Architecture degree. The application deadline is May 1 for the qualification form"

"Every year Historic American Building Survey/Historic American Engineering Record (HABS/HAER) offers students and practitioners employment and professional training opportunities through its summer recording program, competitions, and internships and fellowships. Participants take with them a greater awareness and knowledge of historic buildings, structures and sites, as well as the importance of "preservation through documentation."
