Admission

Transfer to the BAC

Transfer to the BAC

The BAC welcomes transfer students for both the Fall and Spring Semesters. Although many students will transfer to the BAC after completing an associate’s degree in a design related discipline or from other undergraduate or graduate design programs, it is not required that transfer students have a specific educational background. The application and admission requirements for transfer students are the same as the requirements for regular admission students. The BAC’s open and rolling admission policy also applies to transfer students. Students that wish to transfer credits from their previous institutions please refer to the guidelines for transferring credits. For more information or assistance, contact the Admissions Office at admissions@the-bac.edu.

Reactivation

Students who were previously enrolled at the BAC and wish to return after being away for more than four consecutive semesters are required to reactivate. Reactivating students fill out the Application for Admission, although the supporting documents are not required. There is a $150 reactivation fee. Reactivating students do not pay the $50 application fee. Reactivating students are required to fulfill any curricular changes that have been implemented since their original semester of matriculation. For more information about the reactivation process, please contact Sue Brody at sue.brody@the-bac.edu.
