Fall 2010 Registration

Fall 2010 Registration Instructions

The BAC will continue to offer both online and in-person registration for Fall 2010. Students who meet the Friday July 23 return deadline for registration materials may choose either method. Designated registration periods will again depend on segment level.

Students wishing to register online will do so via Self-Service, the IQweb upgrade.  You will receive instructions for logging into Self-Service, transferring your IQweb account, and online registration in early July.  Therefore it is important to check your email account.

All required forms are currently available to be downloaded as PDF files on the BAC website. If you do not have the free Acrobat Reader, you can download it.

Please use the Registration Checklist as a guide for completing the necessary steps. The checklist contains links to all of the forms that you will need.

The due date for returning payment and registration materials is Friday, July 23. Students dropping off registration materials at the BAC must do so before 5:00pm on July 23. Materials sent via mail must be postmarked no later than July 23 in order to be accepted.

Please note that the Registrar's office is now using waitlists for filled courses.*  During registration, if you are closed out of a course and would like to be placed on a waitlist, please contact the Registrar's office (617-585-0135).  Please do not email your request.

You may only place yourself on one waitlist per course (for example, you may place yourself on a wait list for either the Tuesday night or Wednesday night of B-2 studio, but not both nights).

In the meantime, it is important to find an alternate course that fits your schedule, in the event that your first choice remains unavailable.

*please note that registration for advanced architectural studios (core 1, core 2, and C-workshops) will only occur through Studio Lottery (Thursday August 12).  Waitlist will not be used for these courses.

In order to register for courses during the August 17 - 20 registration period, you must have:

You may pay your tuition via IQ.Web until 5pm on Friday, July 23. Past this deadline, payments for the Fall term will not be accepted again until in-person registration begins.  If you are waiving health insurance, you may deduct that amount from your balance.
