The refund schedule for Distance Master of Architecture Degree Students is as follows:
- Written notice of In-Semester Withdrawal received by Registrar prior to the first date of on-line classes: 100% refund, less $50 tuition adjustment fee;
- Written notice of In-Semester Withdrawal received by Registrar prior to the first date of the in-Boston intensive: 75% refund;
- Written notice of In-Semester Withdrawal received by Registrar after the first date of the in-Boston intensive: No refund except by decision of the Appeals Committee.
Please keep the following information in mind when considering a withdrawal:
- Refunds are granted only in the case of an In-Semester Withdrawal. There is no refund for reducing your course load.
- Your decision to withdraw must be submitted in writing to the Registrar’s office. Forms are available at student affairs or online. The office is open Monday through Thursday, 9 am to 7:30 pm and Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.
- If you have Federal Student Aid, you are strongly advised to speak to a member of the Financial Aid staff prior to withdrawing for the semester. Withdrawing from the BAC will impact your financial aid eligibility.
- Please note: The On-Campus Degree and Continuing Education programs have separate registration and refund policies. In addition, in the case of an in-semester withdrawal, BAC Institutional Aid—Program Development Grants, Opportunity Grants, and Merit Scholarships—is cancelled per the following schedule:
- Written notice of In-Semester Withdrawal received by Registrar prior to the first date of on-line classes: 100% cancellation;
- Written notice of In-Semester Withdrawal received by Registrar prior to the first date of the in-Boston intensive: 75% cancellation;
- Written notice of In-Semester Withdrawal received by Registrar after the first date of the in-Boston intensive: No cancellation, except by decision of the Appeals Committee.
