The BAC Institutional Records Manager (IRM) oversees the retention and disposition of current records, and selects records of long-term value for the Archives. Vital records such as charters, accreditation documents and articles of incorporation that document the right of the BAC to do business are centralized in the BAC Archives to the extent possible.
The IRM supervises the allocation of storage space both onsite and offsite, and administers a preservation program for important records. The IRM also makes arrangements for large-scale, secure shredding through our shredding contractor.
