Important change to the registration process: the BAC no longer holds Late/In-Person/Part-Time Registration sessions in Cascieri Hall. However all students must still return their registration materials by the Friday December 2nd deadline. This means you must clear your registration holds (Bursar, Health Insurance, Practice) with all departments in order to access the Online Registration function during Registration Week (January 17 - 20). Please note that your standing with Advising and the Library must also be clear.

If you miss the December 2nd deadline, you must wait until December 19 to resume attempts to gain online registration privileges.  You must also pay a $150 late fee.  On December 19, you may contact the department who has placed the stop on your account (you will be able to see stop/s by accessing your Self-Service account at https://selfservice.the-bac.edu/Home.aspx).  Once you have cleared the hold/s and paid the $150 Late Fee, you will become eligible to register online during Registration Week.

If your registration materials remain outstanding beyond the conclusion of registration on Friday January 20 and you still wish to enroll, you will be assessed a $200 post-registration fee.

Please contact the Registrar's Office at 617-585-0135 if you have questions.

Please use the Registration Checklist as a guide for completing the necessary steps. The checklist contains links to all of the forms that you will need.

Waitlists during Registration

Please note that during registration, the Registrar's office will be keeping waitlists for filled courses.* During registration, if you are closed out of a course and would like to be placed on a waitlist, please contact the Registrar's office (617-585-0135). Please do not email your request.

You may only place yourself on one waitlist per course (for example, you may place yourself on a wait list for either the Tuesday night or Wednesday night of B-2 studio, but not both nights).

In the meantime, it is important to find an alternate course that fits your schedule, in the event that your first choice remains unavailable.

*please note that registration for advanced architectural studios (Core 1, Core 2, and Workshops) will only occur through Studio Lottery (Thursday August 10). Waitlists will not be used for these courses.
