All returning students are able to participate in online registration as long as all stops have been cleared from the student account. The clearance deadline is Friday July 19th. Clearance by that date means you have submitted the necessary information to clear your Bursar, Practice, and Health Insurance stops as described below. Students who are late in paying the Bursar will be assessed a $150.00 Late Clearance Fee.
Students who clear on-time will have their Bursar, Practice, and Health Insurance stops removed by Friday, July 26.
Students who miss the July 19 deadline to Bursar clear will be charged the $150 Late Clearance Fee by Monday, July 29. The Bursar and any other stops will still need to be cleared in order to access online registration, and therefore students may continue to clear their stops leading up to registration. Stops can be viewed online through Self-Service at https://selfservice.the-bac.edu/Home.aspx.
Please note that students who meet the July 19 clearance deadline, but neglect to register during the registration week (August 13 - 16), will be charged a $100 Late Registration Fee.
Students who clear late and register late will be charged both the Late Clearance Fee and the Late Registration Fee, totaling $250.
Fall 2013 Registration Instructions
Please use the Registration Checklist as a guide for completing the necessary steps. The checklist contains links to all of the forms that you will need.
Waitlists during Registration
Please note that during registration, the Registrar's office will be keeping waitlists for filled courses.* During registration, if you are closed out of a course and would like to be placed on a waitlist, please contact the Registrar's office (617-585-0135). Please do not email your request.
You may only place yourself on one waitlist per course (for example, you may place yourself on a wait list for either the Tuesday night or Wednesday night of B-2 studio, but not both nights).
In the meantime, it is important to find an alternate course that fits your schedule, in the event that your first choice remains unavailable.
*please note that registration for advanced architectural studios (Core 1, Core 2, and Workshops) will only occur through Studio Lottery. Waitlists will not be used for these courses.
Transfer Credits and Course Waivers

Due to time constraints, work cannot be evaluated for credits or waivers during the Registration period.

If you have any questions or need to submit materials related to transfer credits, please contact Rebecca.Chabot-Wieferich@the-bac.edu or 617-585-0215.
If you have any questions related to math, physics, or writing waivers, please contact Elizabeth.Stuhlsatz@the-bac.edu or 617-585-0174.
