Karen Muncaster, VP of Professional and Continuing Education

The Boston Architectural College is pleased to announce the appointment of Karen Muncaster as the Vice President of Professional and Continuing Education. Karen's goal in coming to the BAC is to expand interest in and access to quality design education through innovative programs offered in a variety of formats.
"The ultimate goal is that P&CE will support design-professionals looking to expand their knowledge and marketability, individuals looking to change careers, design enthusiasts with interests in specific topics, and youth considering an educational future in design," said Karen.
Karen's work in higher education is focused on increasing access to high quality programs offered in a variety of formats and taught by knowledgeable, committed faculty. Prior to joining the BAC, she was the Associate Vice President for Academic Technology and Program Design at Lesley University where she led the development of online programming and the integration of technology in teaching across the Institution. Karen was also the Dean of Continuing and Graduate Education at Southern New Hampshire University, as well as the Director of Services for Students with Disabilities and Director of Continuing Education at Middlesex Community College.
Karen holds a PhD from Boston College, a Master in Education from Tufts University, and a BS from Indiana University.
