Clare Walker Leslie
Clare Walker Leslie is a professional wildlife artist, naturalist, and educator. She is a nationally-recognized author and teacher. Both Nature Drawing: A Tool for Learning and Keeping A Nature Journal are used widely as standard texts on drawing and observing nature. For over thirty years, she has taught drawing garden landscapes in classrooms across the country. Her Nature Journaling work is being used by Jane Goodall's "Roots and Shoots" programs around the world. Clare lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts and Granville, Vermont, where she has her own active gardens. She earned her bachelor of arts from Carleton College and studied wildlife drawing in Europe.
