Adam Mitchell

Adam is an Associate Principal at Cambridge Seven Associates, Inc., and he teaches the Advanced Architecture Studio at BAC. He believes that architecture is not self expression but the noble and rigorous work of meeting needs. His studio explores the relationship between a building's location in its landscape and its constituents. Students' understanding of this relationship helps to mitigate the realities of construction with the needs of users while honing an appreciation of material sensuality and spatial experience. More

Marilyn Moedinger

Marilyn Moedinger has been a practicing architectural designer, professor, contractor, and construction worker. She earned an M.Arch, BS Arch, and BA History from the University of Virginia, and was the 2010 SOM Prize winner. Previously, she has practiced architecture at Utile in Boston, taught at Northeastern University, and worked as a contractor in Charlottesville, VA. More


James Moses

Jim has been teaching advanced design studios at the BAC since 1998. More


Ashley Muse

Ashley Muse has a Master of Architecture degree and a background in architecture and consulting, with experience in creating high performance sustainable buildings. Through her work with Rocky Mountain Institute’s Built Environment Team and YRG Sustainability, she provided recommendations and integrated design strategies for a range of project types including institutional and educational buildings, large mixed-used developments, and campus master plans. She has expertise in passive design and resource efficiency, energy and water use systems, daylight analysis, material selection, and indoor environmental quality. Ashley has held leadership roles in RMI’s LEED certification team and the US Green Building Council’s Emerging Green Builders Committee and Colorado Chapter. More
