Steve Brittan is an architect and strategic consultant dedicated to the built environment.

He has designed several million square feet of commercial and academic built projects, mixed-use developments, and urban design in the US and internationally. He works with clients to achieve synergistic and holistic solutions with a strong commitment to sustainable design principles.

The common thread throughout his career is the integration of technology with real estate. Specifically, Steve is interested in how technology can help solve large-scale problems such as urbanization and global climate change. His work with Smart Cities explores new ways of practicing design and integrating disciplines to shape cities beyond the conventions of construction and real estate development. Steve provides corporate, government, and academic consulting through his role on boards and as a trustee for the Commonwealth Covenant Fund, Boston Harbor Angels, Tufts Medical Center, Boston Architectural Center, Studio Art Centers International, and formerly, Dassault Systèmes, and Massachusetts Biotech Council's Business Advisory committee.

Steve is currently a principal at Sasaki Associates and former managing partner at Burt Hill, now Stantec.
He has taught at Harvard School of Design, Columbia University, and RISD and holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Cape Town, and a Masters degree in Architecture from Harvard University's Graduate School of Design both with Distinction in Design.
