Matthew Richard is a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture candidate at the BAC. He was born in Seoul, Korea but grew up in Medway, Massachusetts.
Prior to studying at the BAC, Matt attended Tri-County Regional Vocational Technical High School where he received trade certification in Electronics Technology. Like many, his introduction to design stems from a strong interest in building with Legos as a kid.
Matt has connected with various organizations while at the BAC, such as the Boston Society of Landscape Architects (BSLA). He was the Vice President of the BAC's Students of American Society of Landscape Architects (SASLA) chapter from 2009-2012.
Matt believes that the work he produces is influenced by many aspects of life from the past and present and is not just based on one's design background. Matt is employed at B H Brown Landscape Design.
