Felice Silverman

Felice Silverman is the President and a Principal at Silverman Trykowski Associates, Inc. in Boston, Massachusetts. She has been practicing interior design for the past twenty-five years, with a focus on the design of spaces for education, children, healthcare, fitness and commercial office interiors. Along with her partner, Tom Trykowski AIA, a 1986 BAC graduate, the firm practices a collaborative integration of interior design and architecture. STA is celebrating its sixteenth year this year.

Felice received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Harvard University in 1985 and a Professional Certificate in Interior Design from the Boston Architectural College in 1992. Felice is NCIDQ certified, and is currently the President of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA). She was also the 2006-2007 President of the New England Chapter of IIDA. In 2009 she was awarded IIDA New England's Leadership Award.

Felice was a member of the BAC's Board of Trustees from 2007-2012, has been a faculty member, thesis representative, thesis advisor and guest critic at the Boston Architectural College and participates in other local Interior Design programs. STA has employed BAC students throughout its fifteen years.

In 2000, Silverman Trykowski Associates was selected to design the renovations of the BAC lobby, gallery, thesis room, lounge and administrative areas. The collaborative process with the BAC team was a rewarding experience and a highlight of her career.

Prior to founding STA, Felice Silverman was employed by ADD Inc in Cambridge for four years, where she was named Associate Principal. In addition, she was employed by Stahl Associates Architects and Hoyle, Doran and Berry, Inc. Architects in Boston.

Felice is passionate about what the BAC has to offer its students and the community, and is committed to its growth and development.
