Felice Silverman, FIIDA is the President of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and the President and a Principal at Silverman Trykowski Associates, Inc, in Boston, Massachusetts. She has been practicing interior design for the past 25 years, with a focus on the design of spaces for education, children, healthcare, fitness, and commercial office interiors.
Felice is NCIDQ certified and was the 2006–2007 President of the IIDA New England Chapter. She serves as an Overseer for the Boston Architectural College and is a member of the Massachusetts Interior Design Coalition Advisory Council. She served on the Board of Trustees of the BAC from 2012–2013 and was the Chair of the BAC's Interior Design Advisory Board and Student Development Committee. Felice is the current President of the Interior Design Continuing Education Council (IDCEC). She has been an educator and guest critic at the BAC, Wentworth Institute of Technology, Mt. Ida College, and the New England School of Art and Design/Suffolk and has served on numerous competition juries nationally.
Felice recently has been named to the IIDA College for Fellows and is the recipient of a 2014 Design New England Mentors in Design (Middies) Award. Felice received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Harvard University in 1985, a degree in Interior Design from the BAC in 1992, and a Master's Degree in Interior Design from the BAC in 2014.
In 2000, Silverman Trykowski Associates was selected to design the renovations of the BAC lobby, gallery, thesis room, lounge and administrative areas. The collaborative process with the BAC team was a rewarding experience and a highlight of her career. Felice is passionate about what the BAC has to offer its students and the community and is committed to its growth and development.
In May 2014, Felice delivered the BAC Commencement Address in Old South Church.
