Studio courses at the BAC offer students opportunities to develop design ideas under the guidance of practicing professionals and full-time faculty. Students engage in higher level conceptual thinking as well as addressing design process work like site analysis and iterative design drawing. Studios offerend focus on a range of topics from site level design to broader, regional urban design. The studio experience at the BAC culminates in a capstone degree project (BLA) or independently driven thesis project (MLA). Students gain insight into the current climate of landscape architecture by working closely, and in collaboration with, their instructors.
