Student Perspectives

The classes were significantly more demanding and rigorous than I had anticipated for online education, and I found that there was a very positive, stimulating aspect to the wide diversity of student backgrounds that an electronic/digital/virtual classroom is able to command and accommodate.

The BAC's Sustainable Design Certificate, which is the oldest academic credential in this subject in the United States, offers the most flexibility in course choices of the four certificates available from the Sustainable Design Institute. This certificate is appropriate for people whose backgrounds and interests do not fit into the focused definitions of the other three SDI certificates and for people who want the flexibility to design their own program from the full sustainable design curriculum.

    Curriculum

The program features over thirty graduate level online courses in sustainable design principles and practices. See curriculum page for details or contact the Professional & Continuing Education Department.
