    Professional Development: Who Can Help?

We can help! The Practice Department is staffed with design professionals who can help guide you through the different stages of your professional development track. To schedule a meeting with a staff member in the Practice Department, email practice@the-bac.edu or call 617.585.0145. Be prepared to bring an up-to-date resume, work samples [if any], portfolio material [if any], a notepad to write on, and - most importantly - your questions.

The Learning Resource Center [LRC] provides one-on-one assistance with cover letters and resumes, software skills, and academic support for BAC classes. For more information or to set up an appointment, email learningcenter@the-bac.edu or visit the LRC page.

The BAC Mentoring Program connects BAC students with alumni, staff, faculty, board members, peer advisors, and overseers at the BAC. Mentors help students adjust academically as well as socially and emotionally to life at the BAC, and may provide guidance in professional practice. For more information or to set up an appointment with a Mentor, email mentoring@the-bac.edu or visit the BAC Mentoring Program page.
