An important part of the interior design process is the selection of materials for the many and varied elements that constitute an interior space. Making these selections requires knowledge of the material and its suitability for specific uses, as well as familiarity with its availability. Through lectures, demonstrations, and field trips, this course is an introduction to the wide world of materials, finishes, and resources for residential interiors. Please note: Students must have their own transportation for various field trips.
