Chief Architect: The Basics

This eight week course offers an introduction to Chief Architect® software, as used by kitchen and bath design professionals. You will learn how to use smart cabinet tools that allow for quick creation of any custom cabinet style including shaped, framed, and frame-less. Beyond creating floor plans and wall elevations, you will learn how to use Chief's 3D camera and rendering tools to help you and your client visualize your design work as a finished project, a key selling tool for designers. Editing and modification to libraries will allow full creativity and detailed presentation. Upon completion of this course, students will have the skills to create floor plans, elevations and renderings with sufficient detail to allow installers to work directly from their plans. Of special interest to students in NKBA accredited programs, and professionals planning to take their certification exams, the program has automatic wall elevations and dimensions to NKBA standards.
