This class introduces students to digital representation and quick concept production in digital 3D using the program Google SketchUp. SketchUp is a free and easy-to-learn program that enables designers to quickly model designs for both study and final presentations. The class will provide an introduction to the fundamental tools for drafting and creating 3D objects, with a focus on specific tasks related to landscape design. Integration with SketchUp Warehouse and Google Earth will also be discussed. PERQUISITE: This class requires basic computer skills, familiarity with file management, uploading images, working with zip files and usb drives.
