From dressing rooms to home offices, laundry rooms to pantries, students will learn how to assess the clients' functional needs in these hard working areas of the home and how to provide creative and beautiful solutions. In addition to reviewing these programming essentials, the class will explore the basics of architectural trim, materials and finishes, period styles and furniture details as students engage in design charettes and project assignments intended to build skills in application and rendering.
