Natural Systems & the City Studio

Methods of large scale site analysis using a natural systems overlay technique will be applied to a single project site which will be used as a vehicle for learning, understanding and applying principles of air photo interpretation, landform analysis, hydrological systems, ecology and vegetation systems, as well as land use and transportation systems. Seminar modules on wetlands and brownfields remediation and restoration will support the studio. Systems analysis will form the foundation for large scale, mixed use design proposals for the site
